In January 2022, Wrights purchased a neglected nursery with the aspiration to transform this into a new head office premises. Construction started in spring 2022 and today, nestled among the leafy forests of Knutsford, features a brand-new, purpose-built facility, which is the beating heart of our comprehensive business model – operating a professional bespoke facility that employees, clients, and industry can benefit.
From acquirement of the property, the Wright Landscapes design team, headed by Nathan Webster, worked tirelessly with architects and stakeholders to produce plans for a state-of-the-art facility. In January 2023, the construction was completed and has since become a benchmark within the industry.

Our Approach
To achieve this, the build required a complete modernisation to the existing areas with the installation of a tree nursery, planting zones, and outdoor spaces for all to be enjoyed within a natural setting.
Inspired the history of the mother field, the designs replicate linear planting, estate fencing, and formal hedging. The project was consciously designed to amalgamate the inspiration with practicality, ensuring consideration to health & safety, budget and construction limitations were captured.
The site can now be visited by our clients, architects and designers to fully immerse themselves in their vision, finding inspiration from our high-quality library of materials and show gardens on display that is now utilised as a hub for other Architects.
Throughout the scheme, consideration to environmental aspects has been at the forefront, implementing sustainable approaches and increasing biodiversity. This is present within the collection and harvesting of rain water, wildflower corridors and the formation of peat free compost. Additional future proofing has been incorporated with installation of EV charge points and a Klargester tank.
