Forest glades is an extensive, luxury garden serving a newly built residential home in the beautiful Cheshire countryside. The Wright Landscapes team worked alongside our client DS Building Projects to bring to life a tranquil Japanese-inspired garden supported by a fully automatic irrigation system.

The client wanted to supplement their new property with a garden to compliment this grand, modern and breath-taking home. This landscape project has enabled us to review the materials to be used and introduce an added environmental factor.
Our team planted elegant, hand-selected specimen trees, sensory herbaceous plants and refined hard landscaping elements including stone features to bring an ‘earth’ element to the garden. We worked closely with suppliers to coordinate deliveries and used crane-lifting to import materials, as the property was not accessible by heavy vehicles. Open dialogue and detailed planning allowed the project to come to fruition without delays.
Throughout the scheme we produced our work to an exemplary standard. We faced challenges along the way with the main issue being the level of the ground causing potential drainage issues. We worked collaboratively with the client to focus on the most practical and resourceful solution. In areas this required installing more drains, filtration levels and a gravel carpet underneath the turfed areas.
