This private garden is a lush, layered, jungle-inspired garden built for a private residence in Cheshire East. Here, we worked closely with our client and the end customer to bring their tropical vision to life, using a variety of leafy ferns, fatsias, and euphorbias to give the space an exotic feel.
This is an outdoor space that has been inspired and installed to be enjoyed across the various levels of the garden. Captured on each level, from the resin driveway entrance on the ground floor, to the cleverly positioned viewing point of the breath-taking picturesque views on the second floor – it captures, enhances and highlights the existing elements of the character building and garden layout.

Access to this area was very restrictive due to both the nature of the garden, which consisted of a terrace, mid, and ground level, and access to the home which comprised a small, private drive shared with neighbours.
The Wright Landscapes team coordinated with the resident and neighbours to ensure successful delivery and removal of materials and construction activity, with no disturbances. Part of this process was coordinating crane lifts to import material onto the upper-level terrace. Crane lifts were used to reduce both risk to operatives and ensure that works were completed in a timely manner.
Our team installed bespoke sculpted sandstone steps to the terrace, continuing down the steps to the lower levels and resin driveway. We provided a custom-made pergola to add a sense of connection between the home’s kitchen and the stairway, adorned with fragrant jasmine vines. Wrights also sourced and installed a lit water feature to meet the client’s vision. Finally, we installed a formal private decking area complete with trained climbing plants.
Throughout the project we were faced with challenges because of the complexity of the scheme, resulting in on site design changes and modifications to adapt to the changing present conditions. The completed project demonstrates the technical ability to deliver the various intricate features and produce an outstanding private garden accomplished by exceptional craftsmanship and extensive planning.
